Economic Observer

The Economic Observer () is an independent Chinese weekly newspaper that publishes news and commentary related to Chinas economic, political and social developments. The newspaper is distributed in major cities throughout China and is considered to be one of the top economic-focused newspapers in China and is well regarded for its in-depth special features and commentary. Inspired by the British Financial Times, the Economic Observer is also been printed on salmon/peach-colored paper. The newspaper is officially registered in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province and has bureaus scattered throughout the country. The Economic Observers Chinese and English-language websites were redesigned in late 2011 and offer subscribers access to all the newspapers content across various platforms.
