ELGT works to create, improve and promote outdoor and greenspaces in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We prioritise working with local communities and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects that make a lasting contribution to peoples surroundings, their health and well being, and for environmental and biodiversity sustainability. We actively seek projects where there is a demonstrable proven need for intervention and where our involvement will make a practical and tangible difference. Our work includes health and environmental education, promotion of physical activity, woodland creation and habitat restoration, new park and play infrastructure, and community gardening
