nottetempo is an independent publishing house founded in 2002 with around 150 titles in its catalogue. The editorial project is to combine high quality literary fiction with the pleasure of reading, good literature with the idea of intensity and lightness. This is expressed also by the layout that ensures readability and lightness. Our authors include Philip Larkin, Iris Murdoch, Alberto Manguel, Jean-Philip Toussaint, Milena Agus, Naomi Alderman, Juan Jose Saer, Umberto Eco and Lee Stringer... Alongside the contemporary list, some classics: Stevenson, Dickens, Colette, Yourcenar... nottetempo has also several non-fiction series (reportage, philosophy, portraits and interviews) aimed at offering committed writing and pleasurable reading.
