Education Evolving

Education Evolving is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization focused on improving American public education. Our vision is that student-centered learning opportunities exist for ALL young people in Minnesota and around the country, in particular those who have been underserved by the current education system. Our theory of change envisions this will be the case when teachers have larger professional roles designing and running schools, and when policy serves to enable and encourage innovations in learning. We convene networks of innovators in education, and do policy research, analysis, and advocacy. In recent years, collaborative teacher leadership has been a major area of focus for us. We believe that teachers, knowing their students unique needs, must be designers and decidersin schools where they have full authority as a professional group to make the decisions that matter for student and school success.
