Egycopt Foundation

The Social Coptic Foundation for Development EGYCOPT , is a non- profit organization established in Egypt in 2012 with the aim of community development. EGYCOPT is registered No. 8812 under the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The Foundation believes that investing in human capabilities, especially of youth, is essential to the economic development of the society. It educates and develops the individual through technical and vocational training with the aim of creating a workforce capable of addressing the labor market needs, as well as improving the standard of living of the trainees. The Foundation provides training grants to young people, as well as training for women-headed households on handicrafts, and capacity building programs for people with special needs. The foundation succeeded in training more than 6000 candidates to date, 70% of whom got job opportunities after the training.
