In accordance with the Rail Baltica Global Project implementation structure and the delegation agreement, Eiropas Dzelzcela linijas is the national implementing body of the Rail Baltica project in Latvia. The purpose of Eiropas Dzelzcela linijas is to ensure the development of the assets, services and knowledge necessary for the delivery and management of the strategic railway infrastructure of national importance, by implementing common Baltic States infrastructure management model and integration of the Rail Baltica railway line into the Single European Railway Area.
