Eko-svest

The mission of the Center for environmental research and information Eko-svest is to inform and promote alternatives to the negative environmental impacts in Macedonia. Eko-svest has a vision to become a professional organisation involved in decision making processes in the field of environment. Eko-svest is a non-profit citizens association established on the 18th of September 2002 in the Basic court of Skopje under the Z.G. 192/02 number. The Center for environmental research and information Eko-svest exists to initiate changes in behaviours, to monitor the implementation of the legislation, to lobby, to inform about environmental issues, to advocate, to promote avantgarde perspectives that lead to sustainable development. Eko-svest works on energy, transport, genetically modified organisms and waste.
