Ekya Foundation

Ekya Foundation is a pan-India, government recognised NGO started by students, the youth of our nations which focuses on uniting the youth from different parts of India with a common objective to fight hunger across India. In a year and a half, Ekya has impacted thousands of lives across India. The aim is to target humble locations and groups of people who are in dire need of support, care and nutritious food. Government hospitals serve as one of our main locations, where individuals from rural areas travel miles in order to receive treatment and tend to skip meals in order to save money for the treatment of their loved ones. The NGO additionally focuses on meeting childrens educational requirements and hospital expenditures. With 7 centres: Assam, Chandigarh, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Saharanpur, Ekya is quickly spreading to 3 new centres in Pune, Jharkhand and Ahmedabad.
