ELEM Israel - Youth in Distress

ELEM- Youth in Distress is Israels premier nonprofit organization addressing at-risk youth. ELEM seeks to locate and rehabilitate these teens and young adults and reintegrate them as productive members of society. The teens ELEM meets face a broad range of distress from normative adolescent crises and school attrition through much more complex situations, including social and family issues, questions relating to sexual identity, religious identity, drug and alcohol abuse, violence, criminal behavior, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, and homelessness.
