The Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Washington, D.C. is the official representative of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the United States of America. Among the services provided are the promotion of trade, investment, tourism, passport, visa and consular services, including assistance to nationals, legalizing documents, verifying the authenticity of medical certificates, interviewing applicants for permanent residence in Trinidad and Tobago, interviewing, checking applications from former nationals who are applying for restoration of Trinidad and Tobago citizenship and verification of documents pertaining to the shipment of human remains.
