It was established to develop as a premier laboratory and certification body in the fields of physical security products, electrical, electronic, and mechanical products. Originally established in 2015 as a specialized Physical Securities Products (PSP) test lab at Hyderabad, the lab later expanded into testing of Electrical and Electronics (E&E) products as well.
