Enactus Jesus and Mary College

Enactus is an international Not For Profit organisation that brings together a community of determined students and business leaders. With a presence in around 39 countries and with over 72,000 active student members, Enactus believes in improving the world through entrepreneurial action. Established in 2007, Enactus, Jesus and Mary College, strives to uplift marginalised communities through its social entrepreneurship projects and is committed to make this world a better place. Currently, Enactus JMC has 3 ongoing projects- Project Dhara, Project Iffat and Project Sugam. Project Dhara was conceptualised with the two-fold objective of tackling the recurring problem of waste management and providing employment to marginalised slum women. These women are employed to produce 100% organic manure.
