ENG was visioned in the late 1960s after the Chairman flew to Dubai from Pakistan to live the Dubai dream. Set up in 1970, within no time, the business flourished and the small sign-maker started gaining credibility. Due to rules and regulations changing, after the formation of the United Arab Emirates, ENG was thereafter, established as Emirates Neon, by Hanif Merchant in the Year 1976, with just 27 employees focusing on creating neon signs.
