Engineering Aid Australia

Engineering Aid Australia (EAA) is a charitable organisation whose principal aim is to encourage Indigenous secondary school students going into Years 10, 11 and 12 to consider a career as a professional engineer. Since its creation in 1996, Engineering Aid Australia has teamed with universities to bring Indigenous high school students to summer schools as an introduction to engineering. EAA holds summer schools at Sydney University and Curtin University in Perth in January each year that provide students with a wide range of engineering activities, site visits and opportunities to meet employers and engineers from our sponsoring companies. The students can discover the benefits of an engineering profession and gain insights into the excitement and opportunities engineering can provide to our communities.
