Enterprise Qatar

Qatars demand for innovation and economic diversity has led to an increase in support for entrepreneurs and advancing the SME sector. Entrepreneurs, startups and SMEs have the potential to support Qatars goal of economic diversification, in keeping with the Qatar National Vision 2030. Enterprise Qatar (EQ) was established in 2008 under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Heir Apparent. EQ is an initiative of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of developing EQ into a leader in the entrepreneur and SME sector. EQ enables entrepreneurs and SMEs to achieve greater success by developing a positive ecosystem for startups and SMEs.
