The Environmental Action Committee of West Marin (EAC) was founded in 1971 by a group of citizens who wanted both to protect the region from immediate threats and to foster a wider understanding of its unique qualities. The EAC is a tenacious, highly effective grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to the protection and appreciation of West Marins wild lands, wildlife, wilderness, watersheds, and rural character.
