It takes a special kind of passion and dedication to turn a dream into reality. Back in 2008, having recently become a Medical Officer in an amazingly effective government Ophthalmology Department at Mankweng in the Limpopo Province, Dr Lourens Coetzees dream started to take shape. He envisaged an Ophthalmology practice that encompasses compassion, humanity and empathy. After many years of training, hard work and aspiration the Envision family officially became a reality on 1 December 2015. In 2019, Dr Philip Phatudi joined Envision. He had been a colleague of Dr Lourens Coetzee at Mankweng so was familiar with the intention and ethos of Envision well before it came to be. In 2020, Dr Thariq Bagus also joined the Envision family.
