The Equal Opportunity Cell and Enabling Unit of Kamala Nehru College was established in the year 2004 with the goal of sensitizing the students towards disability and promoting justified equality. The Equal Opportunity Cell and Enabling Unit is committed to empowering students with disabilities and those belonging to marginalized sections of the society. Since its inception, the cell has been active in overseeing effective implementation of policies and programs for disadvantaged groups. It provides academic, personal and psychosocial support and guidance services to differently-abled and underprivileged students. A dedicated room with computer facility is assigned for the functioning of day-to-day activities of the EOC and Enabling Unit.
