Equality Movement

Equality Movement (EM) is a membership-based organization, established in the year 2011. With two regional offices, 20 staff members, and up to 15 volunteers, EM is the largest LGBTI human rights organization in Georgia. Currently, EM unites 33 members across the country, and every two years, members are electing the board to General Assembly. EM is founded on a vision to live in a society free of sexism and homophobia, where persons gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation is not the reason for any kind of violence and LGBTQ persons and women are equal members of the society. In order to achieve this, the organizations mission is to support and empower LGBTQ persons and women and also fight against sexism and homophobia in society.
