Equity Marketing Services, Inc. began in 1979 as the residential development, marketing and sales affiliate of Equity Financial and Management Company. It was purchased in 1989 by its two top executives, Herbert P. Emmerman and Cheryl A. Bancroft, who remain managing partners today. Through the course of the eighties and nineties, as we were marketing nearly 80 projects in 14 states, the Equity Marketing team accumulated the vast store of experience that sets us apart. We have ridden the real estate markets highs and lows; weathering three recessions, learning our lessons, paying our dues. We have seen what works and what doesnt; sometimes observing others mistakes, sometimes making our own.
