Ethembeni HIV, AIDS & TB Ministry

WHO WE ARE Established in November 2000 by the Howick Community Church as a faith-based, non-profit Place of Hope for victims of HIV-AIDS in Mpophomeni township, located 14km south-west of Howick, the Ethembeni HIV, AIDS & TB Ministry has since grown into a social outreach programme that covers much of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands stretching as far as Mooi River. Through our programmes, we strive to bring hope to families affected by HIV, AIDS and TB in the KZN Midlands by providing comprehensive gender-specific care, with our Jesus-based ministry central to all that we do. Our vision is to see families free from HIV, AIDS and TB by providing sustainable, holistic care for people living with HIV/AIDS/TB and giving them the tools they need to build self-reliance and resilience. Since our inception weve supported at least 5,000 vulnerable adults and children infectedand affectedby HIV, AIDS or TB across the KZN Midlands, impacting on more than 25,000 direct beneficiaries. ...
