The European Membrane Institute (ENSCM, UM, CNRS UMR5635), founded in 1994, is an international reference laboratory in the field of membrane materials and processes. Its research objectives revolve around a multidisciplinary and multi-scale approach of: development and characterization of new membrane materials; their implementation in membrane processes whose particular application for the treatment of effluents, gas separation, biotechnology in connection with food science and health.
