European International Business Academy (EIBA)

The European International Business Academy (EIBA) is a professional society for researchers, academics and practitioners with an interest in the greater field of International Business. The main mandate of EIBA is to serve the IB community as the core network in Europe for the communication and dissemination of professional information, as well as for the promotion of international exchange in the fields of International Business. EIBA was founded in 1974 under the auspices of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and in close cooperation with the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) in Brussels, Belgium, where EIBA is officially registered. It is distinct from many other associations in that EIBA members come from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds yet share the common purpose and practice of the international context to bridge and cross the intellectual boundaries that so often divide institutions of higher education.
