European Youth Parliament Serbia

European Youth Parliament (EYP) Serbia is an independent youth NGO established in Belgrade, Serbia in 2006. We represent one of the 41 National Committees of the EYP network. Our aim is to initiate and facilitate discussion about the major challenges in the society and to propose solutions to them. Main idea is to get young people to actively participate and engage into the decision making process. Headquarters of the organisation is based in Belgrade, in addition to this, there are 3 Local Committees in the country, they are established in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Nis. EYP Serbia is a member of the Serbian youth umbrella organization (KOMS). Our flagship project is the annual National Selection Conference which gathers around 100 young people from Serbia and abroad. Here, young people gather for a 4 day conference where they discuss various problems in the field of culture and education, economy and monetary affairs, civil liberties, international relations, legal affairs etc. Part...
