Starting out in 2001 as Classic Catering, Dean & Debbie Young have pleased many clients over the years with their culinary and event planning talents; always going above and beyond to make everyone happy. In 2006, they opened their first special events venue, Gatherings, along with Jim & Cheryl Cox. In 2008, Monterey Beach Weddings was born to create a whole package for our Gatherings couples. In 2010, the team was able to acquire The Perry House in Monterey and has beautifully restored it as a special events facility. The company continued to grow with us purchasing the Perry House, our beautiful venue that offers beautiful views of the Bay and a great proximity to downtown Monterey. In 2016, another great opportunity came with us working with the National Trust for Historic Preservation on a New Vision for the historic Cooper Molera Adobe property right in downtown Monterey.
