Evil Empire

Evil Empire came into being in 2019, founded by four partners, including two former Motion Twin employees, with the ambition of evolving the Dead Cells universe. Since then, weve released numerous updates, both free and paid, and forged collaborations with popular games such as Fall Guys, Terraria, and Hollow Knight, as well as with renowned partners such as Konami, Netflix, and Sony. In 2020, we won the Pegasus award for Best Exploitation Service in recognition of the quality of our work. Thanks to these efforts, sales of Dead Cells have climbed from 2.5 to 12 million copies, and the license has expanded onto new platforms (PS5, Netflix, mobile) as well as new media, notably with the launch of a board game and an animated series.
