EWAC Alloys Limited, started as a joint venture of Larsen & Toubro Limited, India & Eutectic Castolin Group, Switzerland. Prof. Wasserman, founder of Eutectic Castolin and Mr. Henning Holck-Larsen, founder of Larsen & Toubro, laid the foundation of Eutectic Division in India in the year 1962. In the year 2011, EWAC Alloys Limited became a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited.
