Exoneration Project

The Exoneration Project is an Illinois not-for-profit legal services organization. We are a dedicated team of attorneys, paralegals, and law students who work tirelessly for individuals all over the country wrongfully convicted for crimes they did not commit. The EP is one of the best-funded, largest, and most successful innocence projects in the country. To date, we have exonerated over 150 clients, liberating them to live their lives and enjoy their freedom. By investigating and petitioning courts to reverse wrongful convictions, our Exoneration Project is dedicated to restoring justice. To prove our clients innocence, we provide free forensic testing, experts, investigative services, and an experienced litigation team to get our clients home where they belong.
