Expect Limited

Expect is a charity who support people living with learning disabilities or mental health problems either in their own homes, residential service or through our outreach service. Our staff work with individuals at their own pace, to develop new skills and knowledge, or regain skills that may have been lost due to their illness. The support we provide is wide and varied and an example of some of the work we currently undertake is supporting people to find/attend a college course or voluntary work, take up a new interest/hobby, support in using public transport, housekeeping, shopping, bill paying and budgeting, reducing isolation, accessing health care services etc. We encourage individuals to help us develop a Person Centred Plan based on their needs and aspirations, whilst being mindful of holistic needs (physical, emotional, social, educational and spiritual).
