Experimental station CATE

Located Saint Pol de Leon, in the heart of the vegetables and horticultural area of Brittany, the CATE is a link of the national experimental network for fruits, vegetables, horticulture and cultivated mushrooms. Founded in 1965 by the Professional Organisations (SICA, Cooperatives, Agricultural Chamber), CATE manages the station which is a professional union gathering the regional organisations in vegetables and horticulture. The station conducts regional, national and European programs of experimentation aiming to solve technical issues faced by the producers or to respond to the consumption evolutions
