Extra Transportation was founded by John Rusty Russell in 1994. Deborah Russell joined the team in 2003. Together, Rusty and Deborah built Extra Transportation & Logistics, Inc. Rusty previously worked with a family business that was owned by his father, Russells Trailer Repair. He worked there for 25 years and was taught the value of hard work and dedication for his company. Rusty developed the idea to start Extra Transportation & Logistics, Inc. when he was working with his father. Outside requests came in for moving trailers around Indiana and surrounding states. While building the company throughout the past decade, Rusty has created a positive atmosphere for the employees and customers, along with the idea of enforcing teamwork in the workplace.
