Experimental Factory of Scientific Engineering with Special Design Department (EZAN) is a Federal State Unitary Enterprise as part of the Russian Academy of Science. The enterprise was established in 1973 in order to provide the scientific and research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and other organizations with highly sophisticated equipment and instruments. The factory was specialized in production of high-vacuum systems, instruments for investigation of structure and chemical analysis of materials, as well as automation and data processing equipment.
