At the Faculty of Economics of the University of the Algarve (FEUALG), research is done within the standards of international level, focusing on the areas of Economics, Business, Management, and other social sciences, such as Tourism and Sociology. FEUALG is located on a beautiful Gambelas campus, close to Ria Formosa National Park, about 3 km away from the airport and 5 km away from the city centre of Faro (the capital of the Algarve region). At its prime location, with a modern infrastructure for study and research, the Faculty hosts two research centres: CinTurs - Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being and CEFAGE - Centre for Advanced Studies and Training in Management and Economics.
