Faliero Sarti

The year was 1949 when a courageous businessman in Prato, Tuscany, experimented with the use of noble yarns in order to create precious fabrics. His name was Faliero Sarti and his know-how allowed the company to soar to a highly acclaimed position in the fashion world. His son Roberto still continues today to make the textile world evolve, while Monica, third generation, has developed while preserving the important legacy in its entirety, a new universe of scarves which are extremely light on the body, softly sensual to the touch, full of meanings and flavours. Thanks to her extensive experience accrued in the woollen mill and in the style offices of important international fashion brands, the designer developed her first scarf collection in 2000, destined to revolutionise the entire sector.
