Our mission is to ease stress, reduce hunger and improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need. The Falmouth Service Center (FSC) works to increase self-sufficiency by helping to build networks among clients, neighbors and agencies. FSC is an independent non-profit agency which has been working hand and hand with the community to support and improve the lives of families and individuals in need in the Falmouth area since 1983. A major component of our program is our food pantry which residents may visit once every two weeks. In addition, financial assistance is provided in emergency situations for needs related to housing and utilities. Clients are diverse as are their needs. We facilitate fuel assistance, food stamp and health insurance applications; deliver food to the home bound; have a gently used clothing room; prepare meals which are frozen and distributed; hold community meals and offer mobile fresh produce markets at local schools and Joint Base Cape Cod.
