As a nonprofit federally qualified health center, Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles (FHCCGLA) has been providing health care services for low income and marginalized residents of its service area for more than 86 years. Founded in 1925 as The Mothers Clinic, FHCCGLA has provided uninterrupted healthcare services over the years. In 2008, FHCCGLA received its Federally Qualified Health Center designation in recognition of the comprehensive primary care that it provides indigent and medically uninsured residents.
