Family Spirit

Family Spirit is a new family support agency in the Sydney metropolitan region. Family Spirit formed out of a partnership between CatholicCare Sydney and Marist180 in 2017. From this partnership, the vision of a new, specialised family support agency grew. Both agencies believed that they could achieve more in the space of foster care and family supports by working together and bringing together their complementary strengths. Family Spirit officially launched on 1 July 2018. The agency is blessed to have some of the best and brightest in the industry working together to deliver family support services to preserve families, foster care services to provide alternative care arrangements for vulnerable children, family restoration services, adoption services, guardianship services, and services to support young people to transition to independence.
