FAMUN FACAMP

FAMUN stands for FACAMP Model United Nations. It was created in 2013 in order to provide Brazilian and international students a groundbreaking academic experience. In 2021, we will be holding our 8th conference. By performing the roles of Heads of State and Government, Ministers and Diplomats, students discuss issues of great international relevance. It is an opportunity for youth to exchange ideas and create solutions to global problems. FAMUN is a WIMUN Affiliate and our simulation follows the WIMUN approach, which aims to offer High School and University students the most accurate way to simulate the United Nations. It gives the delegates a real experience of how the UN negotiations really work, emphasizing the importance of consensus when adopting documents, and building negotiations through the real flow of debate used by the UN.
