Established in 1991, Farm Share is a 501 (c)(3) state-wide non-profit food pantry alleviating hunger by recovering, sorting, packing, and distributing fresh, nutritious food to those who need it most throughout Florida. Farm Share distributes a combination of fresh recovered produce, USDA commodities, and other donated foods to Floridas families in need. Farm Share has facilities in Homestead, Pompano, and Quincy all in the heart of Floridas farming areas. In fact, Farm Share is one of the largest food recovery operations in the nation. Since its inception, it has recovered and distributed to Floridas low-income families nearly 320 million pounds of nutritious food with a market value of more than $694 million.
