Farming is in our DNA. Our team includes third, fourth and fifth-generation farmers. Our co-founder Will Terrys family has been working the land off Californias Central Coast for over 125 years. In that time, our collective team has picked up a thing or two about what works. Like, nature nearly always knows best. And sustainability is more than a corporate buzzword, its a way of life. Weve also learned to always find new ways to keep growing. Before launching Farming First, Will partnered with Stephen Walden and began cultivating CBD cannabis (hemp) using the Terry familys expertise from large-scale farming techniques used for peppers, strawberries and leafy green vegetables. As the team grew, it didnt take long to realize we were on to something big, transitioning our agricultural knowledge to THC cannabis cultivation.
