Farr Vintners Ltd was founded in 1978 and through a policy of low margins, quick turnover and offering honest, impartial and informed advice grew steadily to become Britains largest wholesale fine wine merchant - a position we have now held for over a decade. Our main activity is the purchase and sale of top Bordeaux wines, of which we are one of the countrys largest stockholders and leading en primeur merchants. We also offer an in depth range of wines from other French regions including Burgundy, the Rhone and Loire valleys, Champagne and Alsace. The greatest wines from around the world also feature on our list with the pick of the bunch from Italy, Spain, California, Australia and New Zealand as well as vintage Ports and Madeiras.
