A Trust for the Welfare of Ex-servicemen and their Families Fauji Foundation was established as a charitable trust in 1954, and operating on a completely self-sustaining basis, channels approximately 80% of the profits from commercial ventures into social protection programs that serve a beneficiary population representing approximately 5% of the countrys population.
