Fay International Ltd. is the sole (female) producer of safe sanitary and maternity pads in Ghana. The company was established in 1994 by Ghanian born and raised Sarah Galloway Hage- Ali with the aim of providing affordable and healthy sanitary equipment across Ghana. Next to producing Faytex sanitary pads, the company has a corporate social responsibility to fulfil which is enlightening young girls through menstrual hygiene management classes. Through the Faytex Ambassador program young women are challenged to build their confidence and leadership skills by breaking taboos and discussing menstruation.
