The Fayette County Sheriffs Office services a rural community of between 28,000 and 29,000. Fayette County is located south of Columbus, north of Cincinnati and east of Dayton, centrally located to all three major cities. Stanforth, Sheriff has been the Sheriff in Fayette County since 1997. He continues to provide strong leadership for the office today.
