The Romanian Gymnastics Federation is a sporting structure of national interest, the only authorised to organise, develop and control the gymnastics activity, according to the Law of Physical Education and Sports no. 69/2000. The organization has control upon the practice of gymnastics upon the territory of Romania, at all levels and by all means considered necessary. The Federation is a legal entity of private law, of public utility, autonomous, non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit and operated with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
