Fermentation Pilot Plant

The Fermentation Pilot Plant is a bioprocess development unit, located in the Chemical Engineering Dep. (UAB) and speciallized in the development of products obtained from cultures of cells and microorganisms either bacterium, fungi or yeast, genetically modified or not, on a semi-industrial scale. PPF is located in a laboratory belonging to the Chemical Engineering Department of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). The Centre is linked to this Department and uses its basic infrastructure.
