Fiditas is IECEx Certification Body for Ex equipment and EU Notified Body No. 2829 for certification of products against requirements of 2014/34/EU (ATEX), 2014/28/EU (civil explosives), 2013/29/EU (pyrotechnic articles). Our professional heritage is connected to 1949 when first testing laboratory and certification body for Ex equipment called S-Komisija was established in Croatia (at that time it was for the whole territory of former Yugoslavia). Fiditas also operates state of the art testing laboratory for determination of explosive characteristics of dusts, fibres and fluids, including specific tests for hybrid combustible mixtures containing solid particles (powders) and gasses/vapours.
