Finabel - The European Land Force Commanders Organisation

Finabel is a European military organisation comprised of 25 Member States. It focuses on army-related issues and is the official platform of its member states 25 Land Force Commanders. It is dedicated to promoting interoperability between European land forces and facilitating a platform of information sharing between the Land Force Commanders. Established by the Ministries of Defence of its founding members in 1953, Finabel has been entrusted by its member states with: - promoting and facilitating interoperability between the armies - harmonisation of concepts, doctrines and procedures - the development of a common European understanding of defence problems
