Finance South Sudan Limited

Established in September 2006 as Finance Sudan Limited (FSL) under a program of the American Refugee Committee (ARC), the institution focused on providing Micro-Finance services to help improve on the lives of the returnees. In January 2009, FSL transformed into a Company Limited by guarantee after partnering with Micro Africa Ltd (MAL), an East African regional based MFI. In 2011 ARC sold its stake to allow FSL transform into Finance (SS) Limited (FSSL) a company limited by shares. MAL being the majority shareholder sold their stake in 2013 to Letshego Holdings Ltd an East and South African based MFI and later in March 2015 Letshego Holdings Ltd sold their stake to Cordaid, a Dutch based NGO with an Investment arm. FSSL has served over 5,000 clients and has had outreach in 5 states of South Sudan; currently, FSSL has branches in Juba (Hai Malakal and Munuki), Nimule and Yei.
