The Firdaus Orchestra, where Creativity, Collaboration and Inspiration Converge. Firdaus Orchestra was founded under the visionary leadership of Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, CEO of Expo City Dubai. This initiative of Expo City Dubai, for an all-female orchestra was born with a noble goal: To nurture and develop the musical community of Dubai and to set the foundation for an orchestral culture in the Middle East. Conducted by Monica Woodman, our diverse ensemble of professional musicians, representing over 28 nationalities, from Tokyo to Lima, embodies unity and innovation. From renditions of traditional music from our region to enchanting Disney classics, and mesmerizing collaborations with inspirational female artists Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Anoushka Shanker, Abir El Abeed..our performances promise an unforgettable musical experience for all.
